Alternative Homes for Youth (AHFY), a non-profit state-licensed mental health treatment organization, has worked with abused, neglected, underserved, traumatized, high needs youth since 1976. It is our mission to teach, support, and model healthy life skills to youth and families by providing therapeutic and educational interventions to end violence. We work with kids—any kids—who need help. We have spent over 32 years helping these children and their families so that they—and you—may subsist in a healthier and safer community. We are a violence and victim intervention and prevention program, while also providing mentoring and tracking services, community-based and in-home therapy. On a residential level, we have a treatment center for male youth who have been abused, abusive and traumatized. We also provide independent living services and opportunities. AHFY is honored to be a BBB accredited business and charity.
